Common Defect Types

The specific condition of each item is noted in its product description. Please read carefully before purchasing. Common defect categories include:

  • Leakage: Minor seepage traces on the bottle; neck or seal may show stains. Fill level may be slightly below normal. Liquid quality is generally unaffected, but consumption is recommended sooner rather than later.
  • Label Damage / Stains: Labels show wear, tears, fading, water stains, or mold spots. Does not affect the liquid — ideal for personal consumption.
  • Seal Damage / Aging: Closure membrane (e.g. tin capsule) is cracked, loose, or discolored.

  • All imperfect items are 100% authentic products.

  • Prices already reflect the imperfect condition. These items are intended for personal consumption, not for collectors seeking pristine bottles.
  • Imperfect items cannot be returned on the basis of listed defects (imperfections are clearly stated in product descriptions).
  • ⚠️ Leakage Shipping Advisory: To prevent further leakage during transit, self-pickup is strongly recommended (Kowloon Bay Showroom). If shipping is required, we will seal the closure with multiple layers of Parafilm wrap before dispatch to minimise transit risk, though we cannot fully guarantee no additional leakage.
