Tasting Notes
Nose: Soft barley sugar and freshly baked bread, brightened with lemon zest and green apple peel, underpinned by delicate florals and soot.
Palate: Sultana cake, toffee and candied citrus peel against a backbone of dark chocolate and peat intensity. Soot and ash paired with honey glazed ham and black pepper.
Finish: Monumental and enduring. Very long — malt, light smoke, and a pleasant ocean minerality. Extremely clean for such a heavily peated whisky.
