Consignment - Buyer's Guide

Alcohol Please (AP) understands the passion collectors have for sourcing rare spirits. Therefore, we have established this transparent and organized trading platform, aiming to connect the local collector community and give you the opportunity to discover interesting collections released by fellow enthusiasts.
In this process, AP acts as a rigorous and neutral third-party intermediary. Our core value lies in ensuring the safety of the transaction process-from temporarily holding your funds, to verifying the consistency between the physical item and its photos, to arranging the handover. We are committed to providing a clear and stable transaction framework for your collection journey.
Step 1- Browsing and Purchasing Process
1. Stock Inquiry

When you find a bottle you admire in the consignment section, please contact us via the WhatsApp button at the bottom right of our website. Provide the item's unique Consignment ID.

We will immediately confirm with the seller if the item is still available for sale.
2. Payment Completion

Once availability is confirmed, the item will be temporarily taken down. Please complete your payment within 48 hours to successfully secure your desired item. Orders exceeding this timeframe will be automatically cancelled.
- Payment methods currently accepted are Payme / FPS transfers / Bank transfer.
Step 2- Physical Verification
1. Physical Verification Process

After you complete the payment, we will request the seller to deliver the item to our Showroom within 7 working days.

Upon arrival, our team will conduct a physical check to ensure it is the exact same bottle as depicted in the seller's original listing photos.
2. Buyer's Final Confirmation

We will take a new set of photos of the actual item and send them to you via WhatsApp.

Please carefully review these photos to confirm the item's actual condition meets your expectations.

If the physical item does not match the listing photos, you are entitled to a full refund.

Upon your confirmation via text message, this transaction will be considered complete, and we will proceed to arrange for collection or delivery.
Step 3- Transaction Completion and Handover
1. Arranging Handover

After you provide the final confirmation, please coordinate with us for handover arrangements (in-person pickup or delivery arrangement).
2. Fees and Shipping

Transparent Fees- Buyers are only responsible for the displayed price of the item and the final shipping cost (if applicable). There are absolutely no platform commissions, listing fees, or other hidden or passed-on charges.

Shipping Options- You can choose to pick up the item from our Kowloon Bay Showroom (free of charge) or arrange for SF Express cash-on-delivery shipping.

Combined Shipping- If you simultaneously purchase other items from AP, we can arrange combined shipping for you, and you will not incur any additional shipping fees for this consignment item.
Step 4- Important Notes and Platform Role
1. Our Role and Disclaimer

Intermediary Platform- AP serves solely as an intermediary platform connecting private sellers and buyers. We do not own the consignment items, nor do we negotiate prices on behalf of sellers.

Authenticity and Condition- We do not guarantee or verify the authenticity of the items, the condition of the liquid inside the bottle, or the storage conditions prior to the item being delivered to our Showroom. Our verification is limited to confirming the consistency between the physical item and the listing photos.

Buyer's Responsibility- Please make your purchasing decision prudently based on the photos and information provided by the seller.
2. After-Sales and Legal Terms

After-Sales Policy- Once you complete the 'Final Confirmation' and agree to shipping, this transaction is considered final. Except for damage incurred during AP's delivery to you, neither we nor the seller will accept any returns or refunds based on the item's condition, liquid level, or authenticity.

Shipping Damage- In case of damage during transit, you must provide clear unboxing photos or videos as proof within 24 hours of signing for receipt. Claims made after this period will not be accepted.

Age Restriction- All purchasers must be 18 years of age or older.

Governing Law- All disputes arising from this service shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
