Tasting Notes
Nose: Very intense with loads of salt and tropical fruits. Grilled pineapple and peaches emerge alongside white pepper and spices. Surprisingly modest smoke for a 1990s Ardbeg — the bourbon cask lets the fruit shine.
Palate: Bold and powerful at cask strength. Tropical fruit explosion — pineapple, mango — layered with ginger, white pepper and maritime salt. The bourbon maturation adds vanilla sweetness beneath the Islay character.
Finish: Long, warming and spicy. Salt and fruit intertwine with a gentle, lingering smoke. Exceptional depth for its age.
