Packaging Process
Our Packaging Process
We understand that each bottle of wine carries your anticipation. To ensure your beloved wine arrives safely during local delivery, we employ a rigorous and multi-layered packaging approach. Herein we detail our packaging steps, allowing you to understand how we carefully protect every bottle until it reaches you securely.
1. Utilizing Specially Thickened Cartons for a Sturdy Protective Base
We select double-wall corrugated cartons (5-6mm thickness) for packaging your wine bottles. Compared to the commonly found single-wall (3mm) or thin double-wall (4mm) cartons on the market, our double-thick wall cartons offer superior rigidity and compressive strength. This effectively resists external pressure that may occur during transit, providing the first layer of robust protection for your wine. This substantial carton is our primary defense for ensuring bottle safety.
2. Gentle Wrapping with Bubble Wrap to Prevent Intra-box Collisions (If Original Gift Box is Included)
If your wine comes with its original gift box, we meticulously wrap the interior of the gift box with bubble wrap before placing it into the outer carton. The purpose is to fill any voids between the gift box and the bottle, preventing the gift box from shifting or colliding within the carton during transit. This preserves the integrity of the gift box and further cushions the impact on the internal bottle.
3. Thick Air Column Bags for Comprehensive Protection and Shock Absorption
Whether it's a standalone bottle or an original gift box already wrapped in bubble wrap, we then use thick air column bags to securely encase it. These inflatable protective materials form multiple independent air chambers, offering all-around and excellent cushioning. They effectively absorb and dissipate external pressure and shocks, significantly reducing the risk of breakage due to impact. Each wine bottle is gently embraced as if by a custom-made airbag.
4. Filling with Loose Fill Peanuts for Ultimate Internal Stability
After carefully placing the wine bottle, securely protected by thick air column bags, into the specially made carton, we assess the internal space. Any potential gaps are filled with selected cushioning peanuts. This step not only completely eliminates the risk of shifting or collision caused by vibrations during transit but also provides an additional layer of solid protection for the air column bags themselves, ensuring your precious wine remains rock-solid under multiple layers of protection until perfect delivery.
5. Careful Sealing with Strong Packing Tape for Secure Closure
Once all internal protective measures are complete, we use high-quality, strong packing tape to meticulously seal all openings and edges of the carton. This ensures a firm closure, preventing accidental loosening or opening during transit and maintaining the package's integrity until delivery.
6. Partnering with SF Express Liquor Line for Professional and Careful Delivery
Finally, we choose to collaborate with SF Express and designate their Liquor Line service for local delivery. According to SF Express's official statement, this line emphasizes manual handling whenever possible during the delivery of liquor products, avoiding automated conveyor belts. This aims to minimize violent shaking or collisions that may occur during mechanized processes. This attention to detail is an extra layer of assurance we wish to provide for your valuable wines.
