Nose :
Harmonious composition of peat smoke and an oak-vanilla note. A hint of medicinal aromas with iodine and earthy tones.

Palate :
Wonderfully sweet and yet with a powerful smoky note. Something of sea salt and earthy aroma tones cover the palate very broadly and multilayered. A fresh hint of citrus and compote is striking, with broad flanks of malt and smoke. With this Lagavulin 12 Years Special Edition 2021, the Master Distiller impressively shows that not only the long maturation is decisive for the quality of a single malt whiskey.

Finish :
Extremely pleasing and perfect length. The sweet base tone is perfectly accompanied by broad aromas of peat and malt.
