Isle of Raasay 酒廠聯手 Duisdale House 打造 Skye 島威士忌美食饗宴

Isle of Raasay & Duisdale House: Skye Whisky Dining Event

Cross-industry Collaboration Blends Whisky and Local Ingredients to Tell the Story of Scottish Island Terroir

Scotland's Isle of Raasay Distillery and Duisdale House Hotel have announced a new partnership to promote the premium food and drink culture of the Isle of Skye. The duo will launch their partnership with a Supper Club event on May 23rd, which will then extend throughout the summer season. This collaboration combines the distillery's award-winning Single Malt whisky and Hebridean Gin with a seasonal menu meticulously designed by Executive Chef Kieran McCallion, offering guests a unique sensory feast.

The launch event will be held at Duisdale House, which overlooks the stunning Sound of Sleat. The menu features tomato and fennel panna cotta and a creative Coq au Vin. The drinks begin with a "Sour by the Sound" cocktail, using Isle of Raasay Gin as a base, followed by pairings with the distillery's flagship The Draam and the rare Masala Cask Single Malt, demonstrating the depth of the spirits and their harmonious blend with local ingredients. Following the Supper Club, featured expressions will be available for purchase and tasting at the hotel bar.

Distillery Co-founder Alasdair Day stated that the production and maturation processes on the island capture the true terroir. Anne Gracie Gunn, owner of the Sonas Collection, noted that such collaborations tell the island's story in depth. This reflects a new trend in Scottish island tourism, where close ties between independent producers and hoteliers transform local food and spirit culture into a core visitor experience, fully showcasing Highland hospitality and island identity.
