Palo Cortado Cask & Sinteis Series Batch 3
The first surprise is an 11-year-old Palo Cortado cask-finished whisky bottled at 48% ABV. Because Palo Cortado sherry casks lose their flor during maturation, they impart a unique saline and vine-like quality to the spirit. This expression exhales rich aromas of plums and red/green grapes, with a rare salty-honey character on the palate. For an 11-year-old whisky, its complex layers and impressive depth of body are truly admirable, earning it exceptional praise.
Another standout, the Sinteis Series Batch 3, takes a distinctly fresh and fruity route. Combining virgin French oak and Oloroso sherry casks, this whisky boasts a high ABV of 57.4% yet remains remarkably smooth on the palate without any harshness. The aroma overflows with fresh red berries, strawberries, and raspberries, accompanied by sweet dark chocolate and brown sugar, while the virgin oak introduces pleasant cinnamon and pepper spices. It is a well-structured and highly approachable high-proof whisky.

High-Age ex-Solera 19-Year-Old Whisky
The centerpiece of the lineup is the 19-year-old ex-Solera whisky, matured in PX and Oloroso casks that have undergone traditional Solera system aging for half a century. The aroma exhibits a maturity that defies its age, blending rich chocolate, diluted coffee, and silky milky notes. The palate is syrupy smooth, carrying sweetness of melted chocolate and fruit cake. Under Billy Walker's masterful blending, it reveals an impeccable and ultimate smoothness.
