Edinburgh's Lost Shore Resort Merges Art & Whisky for New "Lost Kitchen" Event

Edinburgh's Lost Shore Surf Resort and independent bottler Fable Whisky are joining forces to host an immersive Burns Night celebration at the resort's newly established in-house restaurant, Lost Kitchen. The event features a rich program including a whisky tasting exhibition, a themed menu, and traditional Scottish entertainment.

The evening will commence with Fable Whisky cocktails and an exhibition showcasing art and whisky. This will be followed by the traditional "Piping in the Haggis" ceremony, led by a piper, along with formal speeches and a toast to the Haggis.

Debut of the "Lost Food" Culinary Concept

This celebration also marks one of the launch events for the resort's new dining concept, "Lost Food." This initiative integrates all catering services under internal management for the first time, led by international chef and hospitality consultant Jason Wright. Wright and his team have designed an exclusive menu for the event, featuring starters like whisky-cured salmon with soda bread and leek cream cheese; the main course presents classic Haggis, neeps, and tatties served with a whisky sauce, with vegetarian alternatives available.

For dessert, guests will enjoy Fable Cranachan, featuring white chocolate mousse and toasted oats. The meal concludes with coffee, tea, and whisky fudge, followed by a traditional Ceilidh dance. Located in Edinburgh, the resort attracts travelers interested in exploring local cellars and culture.

The "Lost Food" umbrella covers three distinct dining venues: Lost Kitchen, Lost Tacos, and Lost Deli. Additionally, a grocery store named Lost Market is expected to open soon. Fable Whisky is a renowned independent bottler specializing in single cask Scotch whisky, characterized by linking its releases with Scottish mythology and exclusive label art.
