The Intersection of Tradition and Innovation
Guests will begin the evening with a Penicillin cocktail crafted from The Classic Laddie, the distillery’s signature unpeated whisky. The menu, meticulously designed by Scottish-born Executive Chef Martin Sweeney, will blend traditional Scottish culinary elements.
One highlight of the menu is the traditional Scottish national dish, Haggis (served with neeps and tatties), paired with Bruichladdich 18 Year Old unpeated single malt. For the main course, Highland venison will be paired with the distillery’s heavily peated Port Charlotte 18. For dessert, a poached rhubarb dish will be enjoyed alongside Octomore 15.2, part of the brand's super-heavily peated experimental series.
A Poetic Legacy Across Centuries
To enhance the atmosphere, award-winning Scottish poet Kevin McLean has been invited to perform live. Burns Night is a global celebration usually held on or around Robert Burns' birthday, January 25th. The core of the celebration is the Burns supper, which includes haggis, whisky, and the recitation of the poet's works.
