The Bruichladdich Distillery, located on the island of Islay, Scotland, has officially announced a collaboration with the renowned Ready-to-Drink (RTD) brand Whitebox to develop and launch a series of four premium canned cocktails. This partnership aims to bridge the gap between traditional RTD products and the original distillery, presenting the distillery's pride in high-quality spirits in a more convenient format. The series covers a variety of classic cocktail recipes, each featuring Bruichladdich's core brands as the base, showcasing the distillery's leadership in innovation.

Classic Evolution: Perfect Restoration of Gin and Whisky

The collection includes two cocktails based on The Botanist Gin: the Dry Martini and the White Negroni. The former has an ABV of 33.9% and is best enjoyed chilled, while the latter is 21.8%. Whisky enthusiasts can opt for the Whisky Sour, crafted with Classic Laddie Single Malt Whisky at 19% ABV. Additionally, there is The Penicillin, featuring the heavily peated Port Charlotte whisky blended with honey, ginger, and lemon, reaching 22.5% ABV. These products precisely capture the characteristics of the base spirits—from the herbal fragrance of the gin to the peaty smoke and citrus notes of the whisky—perfectly restored in canned form.

A 25th Anniversary Chapter: Closing the Gap with Consumers

Gareth Brown, Global Marketing Director at Bruichladdich, stated that this collaboration coincides with the distillery's 25th anniversary (since reopening), hoping to open a new chapter for the brand. Whitebox was founded by renowned bartenders Ben Iravani, Pietro Collina, Josh Rennie, and Alex Lawrence, focusing on recreating classic flavors. Co-founder Josh Rennie emphasized that this collaboration is not a mere branding exercise but a shared commitment to quality and provenance, striving for the perfect balance between convenience and professional bar standards.
