Single Blended Rum refers to a rum blended from Pot still and Traditional continuous column rums from the same distillery (Foursquare).

This bottle is a blend of two Foursquare rums. One is aged for 14 years in an American oak barrel, and the other is aged for 10 years in an American oak barrel and then finished for 4 years in an Oloroso sherry barrel.

According to Hampden (another distillery, not Foursquare), aging for 7 years in a tropical climate has an angel's share and maturation effect equivalent to 25 years aging in Europe.

Nose-
Spicy, vanilla, sherry, wet wood, coconut, olive, chocolate and brown sugar.

Palate-
Complex, with chemicals, tobacco leaves, caramel, faint smoke, bitter chocolate and nutmeg and star anise.

Finish-
Long and sweet, with vanilla and red fruit jelly and cocoa.
