This year, all mooncakes are still handmade locally in Hong Kong. While some choices are classic, this year offers innovation alongside tradition. The traditional single-yolk white lotus seed paste mooncake is paired with Ledaig 16 Year Old Sherry Cask. We also present a lighter Jasmine Yuzu Mochi mooncake paired with Clynelish 14 Year Old.

The Whisky Mooncake Gift Box includes Ledaig 2007 16yo Sherry Single-Yolk White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncake and Clynelish 14 Jasmine Yuzu Mochi Mooncake- 2 pieces of each (total 4 pieces)- handcrafted locally- guaranteed fresh.

The traditional single-yolk white lotus seed paste mooncake uses Cask Strength from the Ledaig distillery- 2007- 16 years old- Sherry single cask- infused with salted egg yolk. The savory, peaty, and sherry cask flavors are fully integrated, adding rich layers and complementing each other.

For fellow whisky enthusiasts, you can additionally purchase Ledaig 2007 16yo Sherry Butt (50ml) for an extra HK$208 to try alongside!

The other whisky mooncake- Jasmine Yuzu Mochi- is made with Clynelish 14 Year Old. It brings out the jasmine tea with its honey floral waxiness- the sweet and sour aroma of yuzu- and the mochi adds a delightful texture!
