Tuscany produces many outstanding Bordeaux blends, and Bolgheri is one of the key regions within Tuscany, famous for producing highly acclaimed wines often referred to as 'Super Tuscans'.
According to Wine Spectator, the 2006 vintage is the second-highest scoring vintage for Bolgheri in the last 20 years.
Enrico Santini manages only 10 hectares in Bolgheri, starting production in 2000, cultivating all grapes using organic methods. Montepergoli is their flagship wine, an exceptionally outstanding blend crafted from Bordeaux variety grapes.

Expert Reviews for Reference:
"This merlot, CS, syrah and sangiovese blend blows the buttons off your shirt. Tsunamis of cacao, vanilla, hyacints, black currant bad boys and polished tannins sooth the palate. Toasted oak too. Intense and rich.Bolgheri at its best. Formidabile!"
