Tuscany produces many excellent Bordeaux blends. Bolgheri is one of the regions within Tuscany, and this region produces many acclaimed wines known as "Super Tuscans".

According to Wine Spectator, 2006 is the second highest scoring vintage in Bolgheri in the last 20 years.

Enrico Santini actually has only 10 hectares in Bolgheri and released their first wine in 2000, all grown using organic methods.
The Montepergoli is their flagship wine, a very outstanding wine made with Bordeaux blend grapes.
