This recipe uses Tamdhu 12 Year Old Single Malt as the base, combined with Spanish PX Sherry. This creative approach aims to elevate the distillery's signature sherry profile through an innovative serves, offering enthusiasts a refreshing and layered tasting experience.

Commitment to Traditional Sherry Cask Craftsmanship

The core spirit, Tamdhu 12 Year Old, showcases the brand's dedication to tradition. Located on the banks of the River Spey in Scotland, this expression is matured exclusively in high-quality Oloroso Sherry casks. These casks are sourced from the famous "Sherry Triangle" in Jerez, Spain, ensuring an authentic profile. Combining this Single Malt with PX Sherry precisely highlights the brand's unique sherry character and rich flavors.

A Classic Preparation for Modern Trends

To prepare this drink, combine whisky, lemon juice, sugar syrup, PX Sherry, and egg white in a shaker, then ice-shake and "dry-shake" to create a fine foam. The distillery suggests using Aquafaba (chickpea water) as a vegan alternative to egg white. Finally, garnish with Angostura Bitters. This method blends classic craftsmanship with modern trends, showcasing the versatile charm of Single Malt in cocktails, whether served over ice or neat.
