Master of Malt 首度推出全球限量獨立裝瓶威士忌系列

Master of Malt debuts globally limited independent bottling whisky series

UK-based spirits retailer Master of Malt celebrates its 40th anniversary by launching its single-cask and small-batch whisky series internationally for the first time, moving beyond its previous online-only sales model. The new collection will be available worldwide through distributors in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and North America starting July 2025.

Key offerings include a 40-year-old Girvan grain whisky, alongside rare aged expressions such as 29-year-old Tobermory and 16-year-old Dailuaine, as well as single-cask releases from Speyside and Highland regions. Master of Malt whisky director Sam Simmons emphasized the series adheres to principles of no added caramel coloring and non-chill filtration, aiming to create whiskies truly meant for tasting and discussion.

Simultaneously launched is the limited Badly Drawn Dogs series, featuring 350ml bottles with humorous hand-drawn dog labels, including a 21-year-old Loch Lomond among three expressions. Portions of sales will benefit animal charities like Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. The label illustrations were created by customer service specialist and artist Cal.

The brand hinted at future releases, including a 50-year-old Scotch whisky, New World rye whiskies, and experimental offerings like barrel-aged gin and coffee liqueur. This global launch marks a strategic shift for Master of Malt, which began as a mail-order catalog, transitioned to e-commerce, partnered with ZX Ventures, and has now returned to independent operation. The 40th-anniversary lineup will debut progressively in 2025.
