That Boutique-y Whisky Company (TBWC) has announced the launch of its brand-new limited single cask collection. This series features the standout selections from over 300 casks sampled by an expert team at the end of 2025. These five new expressions span various regions of Scotland and the essence of Ireland, with ages ranging from 9 to 33 years. To showcase the perfect harmony between spirit and oak, TBWC specifically chose to bottle them at 45.8% ABV, preserving the unique character of the original spirit while enhancing smoothness and complexity.

The collection includes several iconic Single Malts from Caol Ila on Islay, Glen Elgin in Speyside, and Glen Garioch in the Highlands. Of particular note is a 33-year-old Single Grain whisky from the closed Dumbarton distillery, offering collectors a rare glimpse into the glory of Scotland's "lost distilleries." Additionally, the series features a 22-year-old Bushmills Irish Single Malt, which underwent deep finishing in Maury wine casks, revealing complex notes of tropical fruit and spice.

Artistic Labels Meet Pure Flavor

In terms of visual art, TBWC continues its tradition of humor and creativity, collaborating once again with Glasgow artist Emily Chappell. The new labels maintain the brand's signature regional color palettes while reinterpreting classic characters from previous releases. All whiskies in this series are non-chill filtered and have no added caramel coloring, presenting the most pure and natural state of the spirit.

Head of Whisky Sam Simmons stated that these five casks are masterpieces agreed upon by the team after repeated tastings, emphasizing that the 45.8% setting makes the liquid more approachable and vibrant.
