This release marks the first time the brand has collaborated with global retail partners to jointly select the final spirit, showcasing its unique selection philosophy as an Islay single malt whisky brand.
The 2025 Lighthouse edition represents a significant breakthrough in traditional whisky production decision-making. By integrating input from professional retailers and bars across Europe, a distinctive character has been shaped for this bottling. It blends First Fill Bourbon, First Fill Oloroso, PX, and First Fill Bordeaux barrique casks, with a final maturation in Virgin American Oak casks. According to official tasting notes, the aroma offers notes of dark sugar toffee, milk chocolate, dried fruits, and spices. The palate reveals caramel with chocolate notes, accompanied by a gentle peaty smokiness and mild woody spice, concluding with an aftertaste of toasted coconut.
