The Soul of Single Farm Terroir
This expression emphasizes the "Single Farm" philosophy, being the only whisky on the island produced entirely from barley grown, distilled, and bottled at Rockside Farm. As a true Field-to-Bottle creation, the terroir provided by the distillery's 2,300-acre farm gives the barley and the final whisky a uniqueness found nowhere else.
Founder Anthony Wills stated that this whisky was twenty years in development, evolving through multiple limited releases before being chosen for the core range. He emphasized that while distillation techniques can be replicated, the land and barley of their own farm are irreplaceable, forming the soul of Rockside 11 Year Old's bright and fragrant character.
Matured in ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks and bottled at 46% ABV, the flavor profile features light smoke, tropical fruits, sweet citrus, and layers of mixed spices. The product will launch in the UK and Europe first, followed by a global rollout. The brand also recently launched a limited Maury fortified wine cask expression, demonstrating its passion for diverse innovation.
