Featuring a creative maturation process, the spirit was finished in oak casks that previously held Domaine Tissot's Jura Vin de Paille “Spirale” 2018 (straw wine). This release masterfully bridges the Isle of Jura in Scotland with the Jura region of France, showcasing a dialogue of craftsmanship through single-cask maturation and offering enthusiasts an exceptional perspective.

This 228-liter cask had aged Domaine Tissot straw wine for three years before being filled with whisky. Rob Whitehead, spirits buyer at Berry Bros. & Rudd, stated that this expression demonstrates the brand's commitment to pushing boundaries. Spirits curator Felix Dear noted that the inspiration came from a bold vision: placing whisky from the Jura Distillery into French Jura Vin de Paille casks—an artistic culmination brought to life by two like-minded producers.
