Mollydooker, also known as "left-hander", is a highly innovative winery in recent years. Although not large in scale, it has received numerous awards and high scores.
The owners, Sarah & Sparky, previously worked as winemakers for renowned wineries like Henry's Drive and Shirvington, and were awarded "Australian Winemaker of the Year".

Besides its unique label and consistently high scores for its creations, Mollydooker's most distinctive feature is its proprietary "Mollydooker Shake".
Most wineries inject Sulphur before bottling to protect the wine quality. However, Mollydooker uses Nitrogen. This not only preserves the fruit aroma but also reduces the likelihood of some drinkers experiencing Sulphur-related allergies or headaches.
The process is simple. After opening the bottle, pour a small amount into the first glass. Seal the bottle, Shake Shake Shake, open to release some gas, re-seal, and Shake Shake Shake again. Then pour into a second glass and experience the difference between the two. The second glass, after shaking, releases nitrogen that restores the wine's fruity aroma and vitality, softening the strong tannins.
You might wonder if a 2018 vintage is too young. However, this wine has already achieved extremely high scores on Vivino. New World wines, especially those from Mollydooker that emphasize fruitiness, possess a complex fruit profile and are captivating even when young.
