--------------------- Mollydooker, also known as 'Lefty', is a very innovative winery in recent years. While not large in scale, they have won countless awards and high scores.
The owners, Sarah & Sparky, have experience making wine at renowned wineries like Henry's Drive and Shirvington, and have both been named 'Australian Winemaker of the Year'.

Besides their distinctive labels and high scores, Mollydooker's most unique feature is their exclusive 'Mollydooker Shake'.
Most wineries inject Sulphur before bottling to protect the wine quality, but Mollydooker uses Nitrogen. This preserves the fruit aromas and reduces the risk of headaches or allergies some drinkers experience from Sulphur.
The method is simple: after opening, pour a small glass into the first glass. Seal the bottle and Shake Shake Shake. Open, let some gas escape, reseal, and Shake Shake Shake again. That's it. Pour into a second glass and compare the difference. The second glass, having been shaken, releases nitrogen gas which restores the wine's fruit aroma and vitality, softening the strong Tannins.
You might think the 2018 vintage is too young, but this wine already scores highly on Vivino. New World wines emphasizing fruit character, especially those from Mollydooker which focuses on fruit complexity, possess a captivating allure even when young.
