Majella is located in the Coonawarra region and is a five-star winery in Australia, also considered one of Australia's top wineries. The Lynn family began planting vineyards in 1967 and quickly earned a reputation as the region's best grape growers, with a partnership of over twenty years with Wynn's Coonawarra Estate.
Coonawarra has a special red soil called Terra Rossa. It is recognized by wine lovers for its distinct regional characteristics.
Malleea is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Shiraz, using the best grapes and aged for 33 months in new French oak barrels. Only 6,000 bottles of this wine are produced annually.

"They used to sell a lot of grapes to Wynns. This is a blend that the winemaker at Majella always wanted to make.
Bright ruby with pillar-box-red notes. Really very beautiful integration and ripeness.
Fills all corners of the palate, with some but not excessive mintiness.
Quite a refined texture. Lovely polished tannins. Not fat but very impressive."
