The Glendronach Distillery is nestled in the Valley of Forgue in the East Highlands of Scotland, founded by James Allardice in 1826. For nearly two centuries, the distillery has remained committed to tradition, being one of the few in Scotland still focused on sherry cask maturation. Glendronach is renowned for its rich, heavy, and full-bodied style, a result of its unique still shapes and long, low-temperature fermentation process, giving the spirit excellent structure before it even enters the oak.
The legend of the 15 Years Old Revival lies in its historical evolution. It was once hailed as the bottling that best represented the Glendronach spirit. After a several-year hiatus due to stock exhaustion, it returned in 2018 under the guidance of Master Blender Rachel Barrie. The new version continues the PX and Oloroso dual-cask maturation, preserving the depth expected by old fans while adding a layer of finesse.
