Online tasting note for reference:
Nose
Overwhelming tropical fruits - tinned peaches, tinned pineapple, fresh mango and kiwi, banana, lychee, strawberry. Some grassiness behind, develops (natural) caramel and Highland toffee aromas. Almost no discernible smoke.
Palate
Rich syrupy texture, now we find the phenols - wet peat, then honey, flax / wet linen and some of the fruity elements come in, but now with more orangey notes. Pretty peppery & spicy too at full strength. Water tames the phenols and releases more of the lovely fruity notes.
Finish
Long and hot at full strength - mellow and fruity with a touch of water.
