---------------
Left Bank Bordeaux 2010 is absolutely one of the legendary vintages in recent years.
Wine Spectator's evaluation of the 2010 Left Bank is as follows
"Ripe and powerful, with racy tannins and acidity for balance. More structure-driven than the opulent 2009, with better definition of fruit; should be very long-lived"

Chateau Haut Batailley is located in the Pauillac region, a fifth growth classified Grand Cru Classe, owned by the Cazes family, the owners of Lynch Bages.
The price has always been low, making it a great value choice for daily drinking among Bordeaux classified growths, especially in the exceptional 2010 vintage, it can be highly regarded.

Wonderful spice fragrance; tender, chewy black fruit and a bitter chocolate character. Dry, rounded, firm and balanced. Very satisfying.
