Witchburn Distillery: Join the Campbeltown Equity Plan

Witness the Rebirth of a Campbeltown Legend: Witchburn Launches Equity Plan for Global Partners

Scottish independent bottler Brave New Spirits has announced the launch of an equity plan for its Witchburn distillery in Campbeltown, inviting investors to participate in the early stages of production and operation. This is not only a rare investment opportunity but also a unique chance to become a core member of the distillery. Partners will hold formally registered shares and directly participate in the development of this emerging project in a historic whisky region, witnessing the birth and growth of this modern distillery from the ground up.

To reward supporters, the distillery offers a range of attractive exclusive benefits. During the first five years of production, each partner will receive a fixed annual quota of casks, totaling up to twenty casks. Additionally, partners will enjoy access to reserved limited-edition bottlings and invitations to the distillery's annual events. After the five-year period, investors can choose to sell their shares back to the distillery or remain as partners to contribute to long-term development and share in the future success of the project.

A New Chapter for a Historic Region: Witchburn's Geography and Heritage

Witchburn is located in the Campbeltown region of Scotland, on the site of the former NATO and US Navy airbase at Machrihanish. Founders Adam Hochul and Alex Springensguth stated that this is the first newly built distillery in the region in decades. Most of the primary distillation equipment has arrived on-site, and renovation work is underway. Production is expected to begin within the coming months, dedicated to carrying on the local whisky heritage and continuing the region's legendary history into a new chapter.

Modern Green Craftsmanship: A Blueprint for Diverse Production Styles

In terms of production, Witchburn is designed to operate entirely without fossil fuels and features a versatile distillation setup capable of simulating traditional direct-fire heating. The distillery's annual capacity is projected at 2.7 million liters of pure alcohol, with a product range covering unpeated, lightly peated, and heavily peated styles. This aims to provide high-quality single malt whisky to the market. The project not only enriches the region's diversity but also represents a new paradigm in the Scotch Whisky industry, perfectly combining sustainable production with traditional distillation crafts.
