The core concept remains consistent: every bottle looks identical, and the true identity and age of the liquid are only revealed once the capsule is removed. All whiskies are bottled at 46.3% ABV, maintaining natural color and without chill-filtration.
Diverse Distillery Sources and Flavor Exploration
The fifth batch is highly diverse, covering peated and unpeated single malts from renowned distilleries such as Clynelish, Glen Grant, Highland Park, Glen Garioch, and Ben Nevis. It also includes emerging names like Ardnamurchan, Torabhaig, Harris, Kingsbarns, and Wolfburn, and even spirit from the bottlers' own Dornoch Distillery.

Founded by brothers Phil and Simon Thompson, the brand has earned an international reputation for its cask selection and innovative concepts. Series 5 utilizes a wide variety of oak types, including refill hogsheads, first-fill Bourbon barrels, Sherry and PX hogsheads, red wine barriques, and Port casks.
Simon Thompson stated, "The Mystery Malt series has always been about trust – trusting our palates and selection over labels." He added that Series 5 is their most exciting release yet. To meet growing international demand, the series will be distributed globally, with confirmed markets including China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Indonesia.
