Talisker發起Wild Blue游泳挑戰 攜手守護海洋生態

Talisker Launches Wild Blue Swim Challenge to Protect Marine Ecosystems

To mark World Oceans Day on June 8, Scottish whisky brand Talisker launched the Wild Blue Swim Challenge at Joss Bay, Kent. Olympic swimming champion Rebecca Adlington and actor James Norton will spearhead a 10-hour endurance swim on June 6, combining environmental advocacy with physical challenge. Every kilometer swum by participants will translate into Talisker’s donations for marine protection.

The initiative coincides with the release of Talisker The Wild Blue, a limited-edition single malt whisky in 100% recycled glass bottles. For each bottle sold, Talisker pledges donations to Blue Marine Foundation, with funds directed toward coastal habitat restoration.

James Norton remarked, The wild power of the ocean is under threat, and I’m honored to support this ecosystem restoration effort—not just as a challenge but as a chance to reconnect with nature. Rebecca Adlington emphasized the event as a tangible act of ocean conservation.

The 48.2% ABV whisky blends classic peppery spice, smoky notes, and briny seaweed, finishing with hints of red wine and dried cranberries. The campaign will expand through social media and wild swimming events, with public participation via Malts.com for relay swims, turning individual passion into collective action.
