Independent Bottler Rare Find Partners with Glenglassaugh for New Single Cask Series

Edinburgh-based independent bottler Rare Find has recently announced the launch of a brand new Glenglassaugh single cask whisky series. This collection brings together three single malt whiskies from the Glenglassaugh distillery and will officially go on sale through designated distributors starting July 30, 2026. This new product launch continues the company's strong momentum throughout 2026 while reflecting the growing market demand for its single cask whiskies.

Located on the Moray Firth coast of the Scottish Highlands, the Glenglassaugh distillery is renowned for spirits filled with orchard fruit flavors, honeyed sweetness, and a subtle coastal freshness. James Zorab, whisky sourcing manager at Rare Find, stated that this vibrant expression with tropical fruit and coastal freshness is ideal for exploring its versatility through different oak cask finishing techniques—the core value this series aims to showcase.

Three Unique Cask Finishing Journeys and Cask Strength Bottling

The newly launched series encompasses three unique oak cask finishing journeys: first-fill Foursquare rum casks, first-fill Madeira octave casks, and first-fill ruby port octave casks. Highlights include a 10-year-old Foursquare rum cask whisky at 54.6% ABV with a global limitation of 234 bottles, alongside two 9-year-old expressions—Madeira cask at 52.7% ABV (53 bottles) and ruby port cask at 52.2% ABV (48 bottles).

True to all of Rare Find's bottlings, these three new whiskies are bottled at cask strength without added artificial caramel coloring and are non-chill filtered to ensure the preservation of the whisky's original flavor profile. Parent company Gleann Mòr Spirits Company emphasizes that these curated single cask whiskies perfectly embody the brand's pursuit of excellence, offering whisky enthusiasts a unique, memorable, and deeply explorable tasting experience.
