Rare Find Unveils Special 10th Anniversary Whisky Collection
Edinburgh independent bottler Rare Find is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the release of four unique single malt whiskies, each representing a significant 'first' in the brand's history. Based in Leith, the company has built a reputation for selecting and maturing limited-edition whiskies, and the 2025 spring collection not only highlights its commitment to innovation but also commemorates a decade of milestones.
Rare Find's Spirits Manager Greg Urquhart stated that the new series is a testament to the relentless pursuit of quality and flavor, with each bottle telling a unique story of maturation and the brand's 10-year journey. The collection includes the first Glen Ord whisky aged in Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine casks, offering rich berry notes, and the inaugural Dailuaine 16-year-old whisky matured in Barbados' famed Foursquare Rum casks, blending tropical sweetness with oak spice.
Additionally, the series features a Glen Garioch 16-year-old whisky aged in Spanish Ribera del Duero wine casks, selected by the entire team, and a Secret Lowland 11-year-old whisky matured in sherry hogshead casks, showcasing dried fruit, toffee, and warm spice flavors. Rare Find embodies its 'deliberately rare' philosophy through meticulous cask selection and unique maturation techniques.
