Its flavor profile features maritime notes, toasted oak, and plum jam, while the palate offers layers of sea salt, pepper, and tobacco. The packaging features a Glencairn Crystal decanter, hand-blown and decorated with delicate sandblasted wave patterns, paired with a curved metal base and a premium oak box inspired by coastal driftwood.

Old Pulteney 30 Year Old: Liquid Gold of Crafted Heritage

The Old Pulteney 30 Year Old, bottled at 50.4% ABV, was matured in American and European oak casks, revealing aromas of pear, green apple, candied almonds, and leather. The rarity of this expression lies in the fact that every cask was hand-filled by Distillery Manager Malcolm Waring. The bottle, also handmade by Glencairn Crystal, retains Old Pulteney's signature bulbous neck design—inspired by the unique shape of the distillery's stills—and is accented with rose gold details.

Master of Whisky Creation Sarah Burgess stated that the brand wanted to use this special year to celebrate the maritime thread that runs through all of the distillery's work. She believes that each cask of whisky, like a person, reveals a unique personality over time. These two expressions feature casks carefully selected to honor the distillery's 200-year history. Old Pulteney 50 Year Old is limited to just 200 bottles, while Old Pulteney 30 Year Old is limited to 1,000 bottles worldwide for collectors.
