The Legendary Revival of the "King of the Lowlands"
This significant Rosebank 31 Year Old was distilled before the Rosebank Distillery was forced to close in 1993, and has undergone a long maturation of over thirty years in refill casks. Founded in 1840 in Falkirk, the distillery remained silent for three decades until Ian Macleod Distillers undertook a massive restoration project, leading to the resumption of production on July 18, 2023.
With the distillery reopening to the public in June 2024, Rosebank has once again established its leadership in the Lowlands region. This event at Holyrood not only showcased the charm of top-tier whisky but also marked a significant milestone in the industrial revival of the Falkirk area, returning the "King of the Lowlands" to the global stage.
