Two-Stage Maturation in the Tropics and Scotland
Distilled in 2006 at the renowned Foursquare Distillery in Barbados, this House of Rum expression underwent a total of 20 years of aging before being bottled at a cask strength of 56.5% ABV, yielding just 255 bottles from a single cask. Its maturation journey combines tropical and Scottish maritime climates: the spirit first aged for 14 years in American oak casks in Barbados, before being transported to Scotland in late 2020 for an additional six years of aging in refill Bourbon casks.
