Glengoyne 推出全新白橡木系列威士忌 進軍美國市場

Glengoyne Launches New White Oak Series Whiskey, Targets U.S. Market

Scottish Highland distillery Glengoyne has launched its new Oak Masters’ Series, featuring two whiskeys matured in white oak, signaling a departure from the brand’s traditional sherry cask flavors. The series includes a permanent addition to the core product line and a limited-edition 24-year-old whiskey, both fully matured in American bourbon and virgin oak casks, described by the brand as offering a 'light and golden' flavor profile. Gordon Dundas, Glengoyne’s Brand Director, stated that the series aims to expand the brand’s core offerings while maintaining the classic style that Glengoyne has upheld since 1833.

Inspired by North America, the Glengoyne White Oak series draws a connection between the distillery and the American oak casks through the story of geese that migrate annually from Glengoyne’s namesake valley to North America, a journey of 3,000 miles. The distillery noted that the Oak Masters’ Series marks the beginning of a 'global oak exploration journey,' with plans to release more whiskeys matured in virgin oak casks from around the world in the future.

Master Blender John Glass emphasized Glengoyne’s commitment to high-quality wood, which is celebrated in the White Oak series. He highlighted the perfect balance of vanilla, coconut, and spice flavors from the bourbon casks, complementing the distillery’s signature style. While maintaining Glengoyne’s tradition of slow distillation, the series offers whiskey enthusiasts a maturation style distinct from the brand’s traditional products.

The Glengoyne White Oak series is now available through Total Wine & More and specialty whiskey retailers across the United States.
