Fielden Expands to Asia-Pacific Across Six Key Markets
English Organic Rye Whisky Partners with Nimbility to Expand Regional Footprint
British premium rye whisky brand Fielden has announced its maiden expansion into the Asia-Pacific market, focusing on Hong Kong, Singapore, Mainland China, Japan, South Korea, and Australia. The brand aims to captivate both newcomer whisky drinkers and seasoned connoisseurs. Following its acquisition by brand accelerator GHF in 2025, Fielden is teaming up with market strategy agency Nimbility to build a regional distribution footprint through appointed importers, distributors, and targeted activations.
Organic Small-Batch Craftsmanship from England
Fielden traces its origins to The Oxford Artisan Distillery in the Cotswolds hills of England, established in 2012 with a vision to craft certified organic, premium spirits. The distillery produces rye whisky in small batches. Rye is an exceptionally hardy grain that demands far less agricultural intervention than the barley relied on by conventional whisky. Cultivating rye not only fosters field biodiversity but also imparts unique grain character, infusing the spirit with remarkable depth and complexity.
Innovative Grain Mashbills and Flagship Releases
As the global whisky category matures, Asia-Pacific consumers are increasingly venturing beyond Scotch, Bourbon, and Japanese whisky to explore diverse whisky expressions. Pairing contemporary craftsmanship with heritage grain recipes and imaginative cask maturation, Fielden is introducing an exciting portfolio to Asia-Pacific, including its gold-medal-winning flagship Fielden Rye Whisky (World Whiskies Awards 2025), along with the limited-edition Harvest series and Fieldnotes collection.
Targeted Focus on On-Trade and Luxury Retail
In terms of go-to-market strategy, Fielden is targeting top-tier on-premise venues, specialist whisky retailers, luxury hospitality partners, and experiential consumer activations. Across key regional hubs Hong Kong and Singapore, the brand will drive spirit education within fine dining and premium retail spaces to engage influential tastemakers. In emerging luxury spirits markets, Fielden aims to plug into South Korea's burgeoning cocktail scene while tapping into Mainland China's strong appetite for craft and luxury imported labels.
Tristram Coates, CEO of Fielden, stated that every bottle encapsulates the English countryside, the diversity of its fields, and a steadfast dedication to nature-aligned farming. He looks forward to engaging consumers through distinctive flavors and modern craftsmanship, welcoming Nimbility's market expertise and network across APAC. Manuel Arce, Spirits & Non-Alcoholic Director at Nimbility, noted that today's consumers seek authenticity, sustainability, and fresh flavor discoveries—all qualities embodied by Fielden, positioning it to become one of the most compelling emerging whisky brands in the region.
