Bimber Distillery Unveils New Shoulders of Giants Whisky Series

London's Bimber Distillery announced on July 31 the launch of its latest Shoulders of Giants whisky series, a tribute to history's most influential thinkers, innovators, and dreamers. Expanding beyond the earlier artist Pablo-themed edition, this release features three UK-exclusive and three Germany-exclusive variants, each honoring legendary figures in art and engineering.

The UK editions include Vincent — The Dreamer (Fino sherry cask), Claude — The Impressionist (bourbon cask), and Leonardo — The Visionary (Palo Cortado cask), all single-cask bottlings inspired by the artists' unique styles. The Germany editions celebrate engineering pioneers Karl Benz, Rudolf Diesel, and Nicolaus Otto, also crafted as single-cask expressions to reflect their inventive spirit and mechanical craftsmanship.

All whiskies are made using Bimber's traditional methods, from homegrown barley and seven-day open fermentation to direct-fired copper pot distillation, emphasizing rich fruit notes and complex layers. The bottle designs incorporate biographical and artistic elements, highlighting the honorees' groundbreaking achievements.

Bimber's Marketing Director Steve Rush stated that these releases embody the brand's commitment to precision and innovation, mirroring the ethos of their inspirations. The UK editions will be available from August 1, while the Germany versions will be sold exclusively through local distributor Kirsch Import.

Founded in 2015, Bimber Distillery is renowned for its fruit-forward single malt whiskies produced using traditional techniques, earning numerous industry awards and a growing global following.
