Nose- fresh bergamot, roasted almonds, corn sugar, fully ripe quince and greasy leather, plus liquorice and spice

Palate- Lush maple syrup leads to elderflower and very woody notes of fresh moss and porcini mushrooms - this is joined by overripe apricots, fresh mangoes and passion fruit and a spicy panorama of cinnamon, clove and cardamom, liquorice, allspice, ginger and orange zest

Finish- Layers of caramel, cinnamon, kola nut and orange liqueur
