The label features a mongoose. In Jamaica, mongooses were introduced to control the rat population that threatened the sugarcane crops, inspiring this label design.
As most distilleries supply Diageo for brands like Captain Morgan and Myers's, some production is released under their own Monymusk brand name. It is relatively rare to see releases under the Clarendon Distillery name.
