About Thompson Bros Mystery Malt Series No.3
This is the third batch of the mystery whisky series released by the Scottish independent bottler Thompson Bros (based in Dornoch). This series was first launched in October 2025 and marks the project's first export to the international market.
Concept
Inspired by a 2022 fan suggestion (Tom from Construct.net), this project aims to create surprise and a sense of adventure for whisky enthusiasts. The series covers a diverse range from emerging distilleries to famous historic ones, with ages ranging from 4 to 33 years old.
The Reveal: Presented in a mysterious black bottle, label details are hidden under the capsule, cork, and neck tag. Purchasers must open the bottle to discover the specific contents.
