Annandale Distillery was originally founded in 1830. After a series of sales and rebuilding, John Walker decided to focus on his Johnnie Walker brand in 1919 after WW1, abandoning Annandale Distillery. Annandale Distillery finally reopened in 2014.

Online Tasting Note for reference-

Nose-
Malty sweetness and cookie dough, pear, herbs, warm apple compote with cinnamon, the scent of dried cloves.

Palate-
Vanilla sweetness and spicy notes, then pear sauce and caramel, followed by peppery notes and creamy chocolate.

Finish-
Medium length, slightly dry, with lots of spice and a hint of dark chocolate.
