Nose: Full fruit basket with ripe juicy peaches, lychee and ripe mango, backed by sweetness and subtle oak; very gourmand notes of apple tart and vanilla cream with light café au lait and a touch of soft smoke; floral and perfumed with apple, lemon licorice, vanilla and a tang of peat.

Palate: Very soft and sweet, reflecting the nose with vanilla, apple and pear plus a caramelised note and salted butter caramel; creamy malt sweetness with banana and a hint of bitter dark chocolate; quite full-bodied and nicely balanced with honey and cream, nutmeg, gentle peat, almond and butterscotch.

Finish: Medium length, pastry-like with vanilla cake and apple tart, the salty note remaining alongside grain sweetness and a pleasant light smokiness; vanilla, eating apple, subtle smoke and a hint of brine; overall smooth and lingering without harshness.
