Nosing:
The whiskey has fruity notes on the nose. It brings orchard fruits and lemons. Pears are present and impressions of baked apple. There are grassy notes behind it. Spicy oak and fresh mint round off the aroma.
Tasting:
The Single Malts of Scotland Speyside 31 Years is full-bodied and sweet on the tongue. It tastes of baked apples and spices. Behind them are pastries and lemons. Cake is present. Pineapple and mango lead to the finish.
Finish:
The finish is long-lasting. The whiskey leaves behind spicy oak. Apples and spices remain on the palate for a long time after drinking.
