Nosing:
The Single Malts of Scotland Linkwood 11 Years Cask 312685 has a fruity nose. It brings pears and apples, with tangerines and apricots emerging behind. Nuts penetrate the profile, bringing sultanas with them. Vanilla provides sweetness, while pepper and cinnamon round off the aroma.
Tasting:
The Speyside whisky is oily and full-bodied on the tongue. It tastes like cooked apples and pears, backed by sweet honey and almonds. Vanilla leads into cinnamon and oranges.
Finish:
The finish is medium-long, with the single cask whisky saying goodbye with lasting spice. It leaves notes of oak and vanilla after drinking, with fruits also present.
