Smögen is a distillery located in Sweden, founded in 2009 by Pär Caldenby, a lawyer and whisky enthusiast.
Smögen is also the name of a place in Sweden.
They do not have many releases, but several bottles from 2019 & 2020 achieved excellent scores from WF, leading the public to pay more attention to this young distillery.

Whether the price point is justified for a 500ml bottle is subjective.
Recommended for friends interested in young distilleries / new releases.
