Smögen is a distillery located in Sweden, founded in 2009 by Pär Caldenby, a lawyer and whisky enthusiast.
Smögen is also the name of a place in Sweden.
They do not produce a large volume, but several of their releases in 2019 & 2020 achieved very good scores from WF (WhiskyFun),
leading the public to pay more attention to this young distillery.

Whether the pricing for a 500ml bottle is justified is subjective,
but it is recommended for friends interested in young distilleries / new releases.
