Smögen is a Swedish distillery founded in 2009 by lawyer and whisky enthusiast Pär Caldenby. Smögen is also the name of a coastal locality in Sweden.

Nose:
Roasted oak and red chilli flakes, with juicy raspberry and thick-cut marmalade, plus a touch of cinnamon.

Palate:
Chocolate, red chilli heat once again, earthy peat with wafts of savoury smoke, sweeter hints of raisin developing.

Finish:
Vanilla, white pepper and a touch of oak.
