Nose:
Quite fruity with aromas of fruit cakes, sultanas, a hint of fig, vanilla, apple pastries, orange peel, and apricots alongside oak, coconut, buttery fresh croissant dough, and sponge cake.
Palate:
Bigger on the palate than the nose suggests: a gingery bite, notes of white pepper, followed by fruitiness with coconut, vanilla, fruitcake, wood spices, toasted oak, green apples, and pears, ending on bitter-sweet wood.
Finish:
A bit dusty and waxy, with lingering fruitcake and a wisp of smoke.
