Nose: Rich and delicate. Wax and honey notes from the classic Clynelish style, combined with soft vanilla and caramel from the new wood casks. Followed by subtle dried fruits and nutty nuances that complement the fresh waxiness.
Palate: A fine balance between creamy sweetness, wax, honey, and subtle sherry fruit notes like dates and raisins. A light spice and delicate oak round out the supple profile.
Finish: Medium length, warm and dry-sweet. Waxy honey notes linger, accompanied by subtle sherry dried fruits and an elegant, slightly spicy oak structure.
