Online tasting note for reference:
Nose:
It seems to be an old school balanced and spiced sherry profile! Citruses, leather, dusty books, candied lemon zest, bitter cocoa, dark chocolate, cocoa beans, white pepper, cinnamon, anise stars and delicate noble wood balancing all these things up!
Mouth:
The alcohol integration is perfect and the texture is thick and oily. A lot of citruses freshness at start that will slowly decrease. Then arrives the noble wood adding some dryness to the profile. While those two giants battles in the main stage you will discover all the flavours in the background as cinnamon, white pepper, dusty leather, candied orange zest, roasted cocoa beans, dark chocolate and also some lovely candle wax wrapping everything. Very nicely integrated profile overall, well done.
Finish:
Long. Mushroom, swamp, wet wood, dark chocolate, roasted coca beans, noble wood and waxy notes
Conclusion:
It’s a very evolutive and multi-layered dram. It’s quite old school in the profile
