Online tasting note for reference:
Nose: Rich aromas of sweet spices, leather and subtle sandalwood mingle with notes of Maggi, herb chocolates, and ripe blood orange. There is also a maritime undertone of seaweed reminiscent of the coast of Islay.
Palate: Very oily and creamy on the palate, with a perfect balance of sweet and savoury flavours. The sherry cask influence comes through strongly with notes of old dry sherry, dark fruit, and a hint of spice.
Finish: The finish is long and persistent, with an aftertaste rich in spice, fruit and a subtle maritime hint typical of Bruichladdich.
